The Meesho Seller No-Pack Program Policy written below is what is mentioned on the Meesho Supplier Panel. Find it under the Settings tab.
Policy: Implementation of No-Pack Program
Objective: The purpose of this policy is to outline the implementation of the No-Pack program by Meesho. The No-Pack program aims to help sellers achieve –
1) Lower returns
2) 100% Approval of Genuine RTO Claims
3) Annualized savings up to 25K/Annum
Implementation: Meesho shall identify items having higher user returns, higher wrong item reporting. These orders will then be routed to a designated packaging center where they will go through the Quality Check (QC) process and be packed under CCTV coverage.
Benefits for Sellers: Meesho acknowledges the concerns that sellers may have regarding this initiative and assures the following benefits:
- Elimination of the necessity to individually pack items into branded packaging (BP/TP bags), thereby reducing packaging costs.
On an average, a seller will sideline ~35 Items/day to route through the packaging center.
Seller saves ~Rs2/Item on packaging, so in total seller can save ~Rs.2100/Month or ~Rs.24000/Year
- Guarantee of a 100% claim approval rate (subject to appropriate documentation) to mitigate any risks of increased on-ground fraud.
- Indirect benefits such as lower returns lead to improved Profit and Loss (P&L) for sellers. We analyzed a month’s data of customer returns and found opportunities of reducing returns through the packaging center.
Action Required: Meesho’s team will reach out to sellers to provide further details and coordinate the implementation process.
This policy serves as formal communication regarding the No-Pack program and its implications for all concerned parties. Sellers are requested to acknowledge receipt of this policy and adhere to its guidelines accordingly.
