Amazon is updating the weight handling fee structure for Amazon Bazaar orders delivered using the Easy Ship service. Effective June 6, 2024, the weight handling fee will be calculated based on the size and weight of each unit shipped, instead of the size and weight per shipment.
The easy ship fee for Amazon Bazaar orders will be based on volumetric weight and dead Weight of the package.
The new Easy Ship weight handling fee (INR per unit) for Amazon Bazaar is as follows:
- For units weighing from 0 gm up to 500 gm, the handling fee will be INR 73 per unit for local, regional or national deliveries.
- For units weighing above 500 gm up to 1 kg, the handling fee will be INR 98 per unit for local, regional or national deliveries.
- For units weighing above 1 kg up to 2 kg, the handling fee will be INR 131 per unit for local, regional or national deliveries.
- For units weighing above 2 kg up to 3 kg, the handling fee will be INR 164 per unit for local, regional or national deliveries.
- For units weighing more than 3 kg, the handling fee will be INR 200 per unit for local, regional or national deliveries.
Note: There will be 18% GST applicable to the fees mentioned above. Based on your STEP tier, you’ll continue to enjoy the shipping fee waiver benefits of the STEP program for Amazon Bazaar orders.
