Connecting your Namecheap domain to your Shopify store involves updating your domain settings in Namecheap and Shopify. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process:

1. Log in to your Namecheap account:
   Access your Namecheap account dashboard by entering your credentials.
2. Navigate to the Domain List:
   Once logged in, locate and click on the “Domain List” section. Here, you’ll see a list of domains associated with your account.
3. Select the domain you want to connect:
   Choose the Namecheap domain you wish to link with your Shopify store.
4. Access DNS settings:
   Look for the “Advanced DNS” or “DNS” section within your domain settings. This is where you’ll make the necessary changes to point your domain to Shopify’s servers.
5. Update DNS records:
   Within the DNS settings, locate the records related to your domain’s A (IPv4 address) and CNAME (Canonical Name) records. You’ll need to modify these records to point to Shopify’s servers.

• For the A record, update the IP address to Shopify’s IP address: 23.227.38.65
• For the CNAME record, add a new record with the host www and point it to shops.myshopify.com.

6. Set your primary domain:
   If you have multiple domains connected to your Shopify store, set your Namecheap domain as the primary domain if desired. This ensures that visitors will see this domain in their browser’s address bar.

That’s it! Your Namecheap domain is now successfully connected to your Shopify store. You can now start directing visitors to your online store using your custom domain. Remember to periodically check your DNS settings and Shopify domain settings to ensure everything remains connected and updated.
